There is such a misconception among the people that I have visited with, most people look at hearing loss as an disability for the elderly only.
What I hear the most is, "I'm not old enough for hearing aids." People of all ages can have a loss. It is known that age can be a contributing factor but it is far from the only factor.

I want to educate the community that if they wait to be tested and get help for their loss until they think they are old enough that the effects that it has on the brain and their ability to comprehend speech as they knew it will be drastically effected. So my mission is to educate young and old alike, you are never to young to take care of your hearing!"
