Tips For Improving Memory

1. Feed your brain. Eat foods rich in vitamins, antioxidants and minerals.
2. Exercise. It improves circulation, which boosts brain functioning.
3. Play Brain Games like chess or scrabble.
4. Read a book: the brain must be continuously challenged.
5. Drink caffeinated beverages as it has been linked to short term memory boost.
6. Make connections: you will more than likely remember something if it's linked to a pleasurable event.
7. Be sure to get enough rest. Sleep time consolidates memories.
8. Repeat new items often. The more you repeat the more likely you will remember.
9. Music helps you remember past events, retain new information and recover information you thought was lost.
10. Be your own teacher. Sharing info with others is a great way to repeat and train your memory.
11. Positive expectation! Believe you have a good memory.
12. Pay attention. If you want to recall something pay close attention to it.
13. Manage Stress. Stress hinders the brains ability to access and create memories.
14. Don't smoke. Smoking negatively effects memory. So ditch your cigarettes once and for all!
15. Use this formula: Think it, Ink it, Link it, Sink it!
